Throwback Thursday Challenge #4

Here is my entry for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge #4. This weeks challenge was to create a scrapbook layout or double layout using the Doodlecharms cartridge. I cut the adorable cupcake and the present border with Doodlecharms. I used Give A Hoot for the banner. This layout will be for a sweet little girl's first birthday - now all that I need is to take the photos! Hope you enjoy it...To see more about Emma's challenge, hop on over to her blog: http//www.creativetimeforme.com/

Throwback Thursday Challenge #3

Here is my project for Emma's 3rd Throwback Thursday challenge. I made this adorable little purse with the "ailing" girl on it for 2 reasons, 1 for this challenge and 2nd (and most important) is for a crafty friend who is going through Chemo right now. I will fill this purse with Wintergreen Mints to help soothe her tummy when it feels yucky. Hope you all like it! Carts used were: Forever Young for the purse and Paper Doll Dress Up for the girl, Tags Bags for the tag and gel markers for the text.To find out more about Emma's Challenges, please see her page at:

Throwback Thursday Challenge #2

Here's a card I created for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge #2. You can visit her site at http://www.http//www.creativetimeforme.com/

Candy Bar Wrapper for Graduation

Here is a candy bar wrapper that I made for my daughters graduation. The base is 5 inches for the width and  5 1/2 is the length. I used my gypsy to make my 5 x 5 1/2 bases and then layered a 3 x 5" (at 1/1/2" from bottom and top) square on page 2 of my gypsy. This layer was my template - I used it to create my sayings. Once I cut my first squares, I kept my mat loaded, switched my blade to a gel marker and "wrote" my sayings. The wrappers were scored at 1 1/2".
